Reading Notes: Karmic Revolution, Part B
Pandu's Curse
- Pandu and his wive's must have been surprised to find his family treated as Gods in the woods. Perhaps its what led to his arrogance and his fatal mistake
- the Curse seemed fitting for having killed a man in the midst of "passion"
- His wife was very wise to use the curse as an excuse to introduce her secret child to the throne
The Magic Potion
- this story of the prince destroying the poisonous snakes reminds me of the Greek tale of Hercules as an infant crushing the serpents. interesting that that image passes across cultures.
- I love this underwater serpent city, what a cool setting
- Magic potion: granted the prince the power of 1,000 elephants and gave him the courage to face the evil that lurked in his kingdom
A magical potion like that given to the prince by the king of the sea serpents
