Reading Notes: Karmic Revolution, Part A
Introduction:
- I love the animation style of these videos! It's so cool to see the images unfold with the stories!
- That's cool that the story originated all the way back from the God, Ganesha!
- I'm fascinated by the cultural influence that the Mahabharata had across all of India
Devarata becomes Bhishma:
- I really like the music in the background of this video!
- Devavrat made such a big sacrifice for the sake of his father, that kind of devotion is rarely seen
- I love that his father repays his sons goodness with a boon, an interesting choice to make: Family or Immortality?
Sons of Vyasa
- Vyasa seems kinda like a bad man...maybe I'm misinterpreting the story but it seems like he is forcing himself on these women who cant even bring themselves to look upon him.
- Vyasa is really messing up all of these children, the whole situation is quite strange
- for having such interesting origins, the three sons of the sage turned out pretty well (besides the secret plotting to take the throne from one another)
